Our Commitment to Privacy
Send Direct is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your files and data belong to you, and we've built our service to ensure they stay that way.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not store your files on our servers
- We do not access the contents of your transfers
- We do not require account registration
- We do not track your file transfer history
- We do not sell any data to third parties
How File Transfers Work
Files are transferred directly between devices using peer-to-peer WebRTC technology. Our signaling server only facilitates the initial connection between sender and receiver - it never sees or stores your actual files.
Encryption
All file transfers are encrypted using DTLS 1.3 (Datagram Transport Layer Security). This means your files are encrypted during transit and can only be decrypted by the intended recipient.
Technical Data
To establish connections, we temporarily process:
- IP addresses (for WebRTC connection establishment)
- Session identifiers (temporary, deleted after transfer)
This data is not logged or stored permanently.
Cookies
Send Direct does not use tracking cookies. We may use essential cookies only for basic functionality if required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
